Global Railway Industries Ltd. was founded in 1997 with the goal of becoming a full service supplier of railway maintenance equipment.  Since 1998, the company has established itself through aggressive growth by acquisition and consolidation.  At present, Global’s products are offered through four high-quality rail product and service operations:  Bach-Simpson, CAD Railway Industries Ltd., G&B Specialties, Inc. and Prime Railway Services.  The Company has approximately three hundred and eighty employees and a diverse base of customers throughout North America, with operations located in Canada and United States.

Officers

Fausto Levy -  President & CEO

Fausto Levy was appointed interim President and CEO of Global Railway Industries Ltd. July 2010.  Mr. Levy has been President of CAD Railway Industries Ltd., wholly owned subsidiary of Global, since November 2007.  Mr. Levy brings a rich experience to Global having held executive management positions in Bombardier Rail, CN Rail, AMF Technotransport, and Newcourt Capital.  As senior Partner and Managing Director, Mr. Levy created and managed the Quebec Investment banking activities for Newcourt.  Additionally, Mr. Levy is Founder and Chairman of FTM Capital, an investment banking firm with direct investments in rail and other manufacturing sectors.

Mr. Levy sits on the Board of several successful companies in the telecommunications, energy and machine manufacturing sectors in Canada and Europe.

 

Ross Corcoran— Chief Financial Officer

Ross Corcoran was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Global Railway and CAD Railway Industries Inc.  Mr. Corcoran joined CAD in November 2009 and is a fluently bilingual chief financial officer and accomplished leader. Mr. Corcoran brings to Global more than 15 years of senior professional experience covering many sectors in the public and private domains. Most recently, Mr. Corcoran was CFO of a Canadian technology company and consulted public companies on financial reporting and public documentation. 

Mr. Corcoran has extensive experience executing complex transactions and projects in both the international and domestic arenas.

 

Brian McMullan - VP

Brian McMullan was the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  Brian is a  Chartered Accountant who began his career with KPMG.  Brian then spent nearly 19 years with Canon Canada Inc. in various senior financial, operational, and sales roles.  During the past two and a half years Brian has focused on enhancing the quality of Global’s financial reporting. Over the last 22 years, Brian has been a senior financial executive with progressive and varied experience with Canon Canada, Inc.  In his last three years at Canon, Brian was Vice President, Finance and Accounting.
